All in all, a good day

It started with lunch provided by Cornell's Athletic Communications Office. Laura rocks. As does Rogan's pizza, which I enjoyed for the second time in a week. The five errors in the seventh inning of the first game were painful to watch, even though the Big Red were out of the game by then. Of course, then Matt and Kevin showed up for the second game. I haven't had a chance to listen to the tape yet, but it should be interesting. There could be up to two hours of stuff on there - it was a good practice session for them.

Then there was women's lacrosse. We played Syracuse. The Orangewomen were ranked below us. Therefore, we won. (Cornell is 9-0 when playing teams unranked or ranked below them - its only loss is to current #1 Princeton.) 13 to 6. An especially good defensive effort.

My mom said the school district has sent home an application for this year's Summer Music Clinic. I'm glad they asked me back - I had a blast doing it last year. It's essentially a week's paid vacation. :-)

Chris McKendry doing an impression of Jim Mora's now famous "Playoffs?" quote - not amusing at all. Should not have been aired in the SportsCenter opening.

Tomorrow night - ISLANDERS PLAYOFF HOCKEY!!!! I am psyched.
