Well, that went much better than I expected.

I don't think it could have been a better night for a Cornell lacrosse fan, or a covering reporter for that matter. Not only did the men get in, they were seeded sixth. They'll play Stony Brook this Saturday at Brown, with the winner facing Virginia on May 19 at Johns Hopkins.

A big thanks goes to the Women's Lacrosse Committee for making my travel schedule easier. The women have homefield advantage in each of the first two rounds, as they are the fourth seed. It will be Syracuse this Thursday. A victory sets up a Sunday matchup with either Loyola or Maryland. I'll be able to see all the games and won't have to drive very far at all.

We now have audio tape of the women's basketball game. This is excellent.
