Bought another DVD today - "Ocean's Eleven" this time. I was even able to screen it in the TV lounge. Some fools actually wanted to watch the Texas-New Mexico State game. Why anyone, even a Longhorns fan, would want to watch a 66-7 walkover rather than such an excellent movie, I don't know.

Random observation of the day: Probably the two most popular sports in this part of the country are two of the least popular back home. I refer to NASCAR and college football. A "real" I-A football game probably would hold my interest. But the more I think about it, the more averse I am to the idea of watching cars repeatedly drive and turn left for hours on end.
