I chose to finish the hour, then go home and prep for sleep. I was asleep by 2000 - and it turned out to be the right decision. The negative of having a runny nose this morning (which has since cleared up) was outweighed by the positive of putting up a 3.88 on E-Funds 3. I also broke a three-exam losing streak by posting the highest grade in the class (that is, before the regrade numbers come back. I didn't request a regrade, but the people closest to me did.)
I celebrated by buying jeans at the exchange. The fact that I got paid today was another motivating factor in getting more jeans. I'm not buying other clothes, because I'm having shirts shipped down from New York, and they should be arriving sometime next week.
The Cubs are, as I write, on the verge of completing their collapse and blowing a 3-games-to-1 series lead to the bloody Marlins, who stand to pick up their second NL championship in their eleven-year existence. I'm going to presume they win this one, and say that I'll root for them in the World Series - if they play the Yankees; otherwise I'm behind the Red Sox.
Physical fitness assessment tomorrow morning = high degree of unpleasantness. It should dissipate by 0700 though. Fortunately there isn't much on tap for school tomorrow.
